Snowdonia life

along the beautiful Trefriw Trails

Living locally and walking the dogs in Snowdonia

We live in Snowdonia with our gorgeous dog, Joey.

Having previously owned a B&B in Betws-y-Coed, we have extensive knowledge of the local area and we still live in Snowdonia.

We understand the importance of taking your dog on holiday. So our Snowdonia self-catering cottage in Trefriw is dog friendly.  The cottage garden is enclosed, up to 4 foot fencing, which can be accessed via the downstairs bedroom patio doors, and an outside gate. We provide dog blankets for the sofas, dog bowls, a spare lead. There are lovely walks from the doorstep of Old Rectory Cottage, making it an ideal spot for dog owners.

Rachael enjoys yoga and running. Mike is a keen golfer, enjoying the local North Wales links courses; such as North Wales Golf Club. Plus he has recently taken up road cycling  in the lovely fresh air and quiet roads.

We enjoy eating out in Trefriw, Betws y Coed and Conwy.  Mike is particularly fond of the sausage rolls from the local village butchers in Trefriw and the infamous pies handmade by Maralyn.

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you, your family and children, and your furry friends to Old Rectory Cottage haven in Snowdonia! x
