Snowdonia life, living locally and walking the dogs in Snowdonia

We live in Snowdonia with our two gorgeous dogs; Boots and Benji.  We previously owned a B&B in Betws-y-Coed.

Boots and Benji are senior dogs now but they still enjoy trundling along the beautiful Trefriw Trails and the tracks in the Gwydir Forest, plus walking  along the sandy beaches of North Wales.

We understand the importance of taking your dog on holiday. So our self-catering cottage in Trefriw had to be dog friendly.  And we love the fact that there are beautiful walks in Snowdonia from the doorstep of Old Rectory Cottage.

Rachael enjoys yoga and running. Mike is a keen golfer, enjoying the local North Wales links courses; such as North Wales Golf Club.. Plus he  has recently taken up road cycling  in the lovely fresh air and quiet roads.

We enjoy eating out in Trefriw, Betws y Coed and Conwy.  Mike is particularly fond of the sausage rolls from the local village butchers in Trefriw. As well as the infamous pies handmade by Maralyn.

Living locally means that we really know the area. We’re happy to help you plan your holiday.
